Other things to note

! Please be advised that there are currently no nearby emergency services in Hemlock Valley. The nearest Hospital to Hemlock Valley is Chilliwack General Hospital and it is a 1 hour and 6 minute drive in ideal conditions. If you have any severe allergy or illnesses that has the potential for you to need an ambulance or medical assistance, Hemlock Valley may not be a safe destination for you.

! The Road up is mostly gravel, it is very steep with hairpin turns. Heavy towing could be difficult if you are inexperienced. Any vehicle in good repair can drive up and down the road without issue; however, the hairpin turns and steep incline is not for everyone.

》Slippery conditions in the winter season. The ministry of transport has made it a requirement to carry chains from October 01 to April 31. 4x4 vehicles driven carefully and with snow tires are very unlikely to have issue with the snow. Front wheel drive vehicles with snow tires are ok in the snow with careful driving most of the time. Front wheel drive vehicles with chains on the front are effective in the snow up as long as you stay clear of any areas that would result in your vehicle being high centered.

》!Do not park along the sides of the house during the winter- snow fall from Roof will cause significant damage to vehicles!

○ Please remember that you're staying in a house owned by a family, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, our host have staff that live on the mountain and will attempt to address your needs as quickly as possible.
